Month: November 2013

I found a pattern for cute sundresses where the yoke is made completely in the hoop.  I have made several of them.    I thought it would look really cute in Christmas colors and if weather is chilly,  a shirt could be worn under it.  I also wanted to make matching ones for my granddaughter, Olivia, and her cousin, Ella.

I started by making the yokes in the hoop and embroidering their initials on them.

Then I made the skirt and ruffle and attached to the yoke.  These dresses turned out so cute.

I had some pink floral fabric left over from the office redecoration, Shabby Chic floral stripe, and I thought it would make a really cute jumpsuit for Olivia.

The collars were made using a Brer Rabbit designs embroidery.

I made a pink and white stripe bonnet to match as well.
